One way I like to earn a little extra income is to make my own candles. This can especially bring in a little cash around holidays. Who doesn't love the smell of scented candles around your favorite holiday season? And candle gift baskets are always a big hit. 

Besides candle making being good for extra income, it is also great therapy. It helps me to stay relaxed and thinking good thoughts.

How to find HUGE discounts on Amazon

There used to be a way where you could find huge discounts on Amazon.com by manipulating the search string to find big discounts. 

This was detailed over at Survival Guide For Idiots. So Amazon has changed their search string structure.

The cool thing is that it still works though, although everything is a bit different.

Using the category codes from the Survival guide, you can still do fun stuff with the search string in your address bar.

Here’s a look at a search that I just ran.

http://www.amazon.com/s?ie=UTF8&page=1&rh=n%3A541966%2Cp_8%3A90-99

The part at the very end (90-99) indicates the amount of discount you will be searching for.
The ‘category codes’ go in the middle of the string. In this case, it’s the ’541966′ right between the n%3A and the %2Cp. You can change that number to any other code for whatever category you want to troll for discounts.

UPDATE :  10/8/2018  I haven't tried this system out in a while so you might want to try it to see if it is still working. So many  algorithm changes!
